The 19th-century lighthouse that guards the entrance to the Gulf of Olbia consists of a white tower about 20 metres high. The Olbia Lighthouse has been welcoming ships arriving in Sardinia since the late 1800s and is a striking attraction of ancient Newfoundland. It is possible to see the Olbia Lighthouse up close on a boat or canoe excursion.
