Island of Proratora

Cala Brandinchi Beach: Little Tahiti

The islet of Proratora is located at the end of the peninsula of Capo Coda Cavallo. On this small emergence, archaeological excavations have brought to light artefacts from the Roman era. The studies carried out during the excavations have led to the hypothesis that the settlement was probably dedicated to the activity of selling food, presumably products related to marine produce such as fish or shells and salt. Evidence of how important the 'sea resource' was and still is today.
