Royal Cove Asinara

Cala della Reale or Cala Reale is a wide bay set in the central-east coast of Asinara where boats arriving from Porto Torres and Stintino dock. It owes its name to the residence of the Royal House of Savoy. Today, many buildings of the penal colony are still visible in the small village.
