This information is not freely available to travelers to Sardinia and Ir is very disappointing to learn that we cannot visit La Pelosa on our trip to Alghero because we had no way of knowing the beach is now only available via reservations and is booked out for the next month!!! It's really bad that Sardinia tourism don't explain this to tourists. I will make sure to tell people in Ireland not to come here because they can't access the beaches - if you don't want us here stop advertising Sardinia as a holiday destination
Hi Michelle, I understand your disappointment. Many municipalities are deciding to make beach access accessible by reservation only. This is because uncontrolled access in previous years has caused damage to the ecosystem.
